Sepluveda Channel Restoration
2012

This project reclaims neglected urban space within the Los Angeles County flood control system. Unused space is restored and a new small park is created.

The program includes a class 1 dedicated bike path, new drought resistant native landscaping, a pedestrian path with permeable pavers, solar powered lighting and use of recycled materials.

Sepluveda Channel Restoration

A small foot bridge connects the two sides of the channel. The West side, shown here is designed for pedestrians. The East side includes a dedicated two way bike path.
